NCSA Legislative Program

The Nebraska Council of Schools Administrators has an active and ongoing legislative program to promote the interests of public education.

The purposes of the NCSA Legislative Program are to:

• Analyze legislation under consideration in the Nebraska Legislature and measures that may appear on statewide election ballots;
• Take positions on specific bills and resolutions as directed by the NCSA Legislative Committee;
• Advocate for passage or defeat of selected measures; and
• Inform members about NCSA positions on current legislation and on statewide ballot measures, and encourage action when needed.
